Frequently asked questions

Can I start on Pre-Launch even if I’m already running a search?
Pre-Launch is designed for people who haven’t yet launched their fund. If you’re actively sourcing companies and managing deals, the Searcher tier (or higher) is what you need. You can always start with the 14-day full trial of Fund tier to evaluate.
What happens to my data when I upgrade from Pre-Launch?
Everything carries over. Your thesis populates your fund profile and pre-fills the Screening Questionnaire defaults. Your economics model populates the Budget module. The investors you’ve been tracking become your Investor Portal invitees on day one.
What happens if I downgrade?
Your data stays intact. Features no longer included in your plan become read-only or unavailable, but nothing is deleted. If you upgrade again later, everything is exactly as you left it.
Do investors pay anything?
No. The Investor Portal is free for investors, forever. Investors who back multiple funds get a free consolidated portfolio view across all of them.
What if I exceed my credit allowance?
Nothing breaks and nothing auto-charges. You see a top-up prompt and can purchase more credits in one click, or wait until next month when your allowance refreshes. You’re always in control.
Is there a free trial for the paid tiers?
Yes — 14 days of full Fund-tier access, no credit card required. If you’re coming from the Pre-Launch plan, your data carries over into the trial.
Can I switch between monthly and annual billing?
Yes, at any renewal point. Annual billing is 20% cheaper than monthly.
Do you offer discounts for early-stage funds or specific programmes?
